īMoll Flanders īhas a lot of things of crime biographies , however the crime biographies arenīt novels because they donīt have the fictional spirit. They are functional narratives. In the case of īMoll Flandersīthe part of crime biography is only a piece of the whole. The adventures of Moll is a group of cases about different themes that worry Defoe and public opinion. We find two parts in the lecture. The first tells about Mollīs attitude when faced with an event and in the other the feeling that awaken when she remembers the events.
There are two main characters, itīs compulsory to distinguish between the Moll who acts / participates in the events and the Moll who narrates them. (The Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Famous Moll Flanders. Edition by Javier Sanchez Diez. Catedra. Letras Universales. 1999.)
